Raimund Grube

Mr. Grube has over 17 years of experience in the energy sector that includes asset acquisitions, finance, development and power marketing. Over this time, he has been responsible for invested capital of more than US$3 billion and 1.5GW of projects currently in operation. At Paragon, Mr. Grube is responsible for working with project sponsors and investors on solar and wind tax equity, M&A transactions and other equity financing. Prior to Paragon, Mr. Grube served as a Principal with Equilibrium Capital, an impact investment platform that builds and operates sustainability-driven real asset portfolios with institutional capital. He led the renewable energy and water initiatives for Equilibrium and currently serves as an Advisor and Chair of the Investment and Management Committees for their $180 million Wastewater Opportunity Fund. Prior to joining Equilibrium, Mr. Grube was president and COO and one of the founding members of Element Power, a renewable energy company and independent power producer (IPP) backed by a leading private equity investor. He led the partial exit of Element Power’s solar and wind businesses in the Americas that included the sale of two portfolios totaling more than 1.5GW. Mr. Grube also previously worked for PPM Energy and Iberdrola Renewables, and led regional project development and acquisitions of renewable energy projects in the US and Canada. His experience also includes work at Enron International as a financial analyst for projects in Asia and Africa and developer of gas-fired generation projects in the US. Mr. Grube earned a Bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies and Economics from Colgate University and a Master’s Degree from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
