Mr. Goffman has over six years of experience in project finance modeling, renewable project development, and energy market research. He has worked in over a dozen energy markets across the Americas, on a plethora of deal structures including leverage, tax equity, and mergers and acquisitions, using an array of different generation technology.
Prior to joining Paragon, Mr. Goffman worked at Forefront Power, where he developed a wide variety of models from early stage valuations to final tax equity deals and combined portfolios for later stage monetization. He also led project finance for the Mexico team.
Prior to Forefront, Mr. Goffman worked at Inkia Energy, where he conducted analysis for early stage project development in the Americas, helping initiate and conclude construction on multiple wind farms. Mr. Goffman has also worked as an Investment Manager at Origis Energy, where he created the financial model for multiple markets, including a winning bid in Brazil’s 2015 solar auction.
Mr. Goffman, who is an active CFA charterholder, earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Management with a focus on Energy Finance from Duke University in 2015 and a Bachelor of Science degree from Yale University in 2010.
Mr. Goffman holds SIE, Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
