Mr. Straus has over 6 years of combined experience in project financing, renewable project development, and valuation consulting. During this time, he has been involved in over $1 billion in tax equity and sponsor equity transactions resulting in more than 1.5GW of projects currently in operation.
Prior to joining Paragon, Mr. Straus was a manager in EDF Renewables’ Project Finance team. He has raised capital for late-stage development projects using a variety of structures, including traditional tax equity, tax credit transfers, and strategic partnerships.
Prior to EDF Renewables, Mr. Straus worked at Marshall & Stevens, where he conducted fair market value opinions on tax equity partnerships across various technologies.
Mr. Straus earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola University Chicago in 2018.
